Recently we have so many things happen with our neighbour's cat.
Mummy cat was biten 3 times by a dog one night, fortunately we were there. She suffered broken rib without eating nor drinking 3 days. Luckily she's nearly fully recovered now. Her baby was scared, tried to approach her, forth and back.
Last Friday night, her kitten, only 3 months old, came out to play, for some reasons, Rusty, my dog, was out and immediately killed her, this time nobody around. By the time my neighbour heard the crying sound and came out, kitten was dying.
Mummy and Daddy cat around her, licked her and sawing her past away in few minutes. Mummy cat is in sorrow and Daddy cat now stay with my neighbour to comfort and support her.
Had scolded Rusty, but not sure if she would ever learn. Rusty behaves well if human is there, without us, animals hunting character jumps out.
Sign.....life cannot be expected and we never know the ending
